Review of False Idols by Karla Marie Sweet

I devoured this book like I’d been starved for words. I’m a sucker for culty, toxic female dynamics, and this story had me absolutely hooked. I couldn’t put it down. When Sadie relocates to LA with her husband, she gets pulled into a mysterious women’s group called Deep Flow, led by the captivating wellness guru, Lilth. As Sadie earns Lilth’s trust, she has no idea what’s truly in store.

My jaw dropped MANY times reading this book, especially as I became to understand how Deep Flow’s tentacles were wrapping around Sadie, but also how far she would go to stay as one of the sisters. I could NOT put the book down! There’s also a lace of mystery echoed throughout the pages which adds to the claustrophobic feelings of the unraveling events.

False Idols is a brilliant, gripping and dark thriller that will hook you from the very first page until the final page. You NEED to pick up a copy, and let us know what you think!
