Review of The Courting of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson

Tis the season to settle down with a stack of fantasy novels, including Mary E. Pearson’s very first adult romantic fantasy novel, The Courting of Bristol Keats.

Bristol Keats is one of the three Keats sisters who have lost both of their parents. Struggling to make ends meet, Bristol is intrigued by the offer of pieces of rare art from an aunt she doesn’t know.

What transpires is an adventurous and desperate journey through a world that Bristol thought only belonged in fairytales. The world of the Fae. After Bristol gets sucked into a bargain with a Fae king, she begins to uncover that there is much more to her parents death than she previously believed, as well as secrets about herself. If you LOVE magical worlds, fae royal courts and a massive dusting of forbidden, slow-burn romance, this is the book that you NEED!
