Review of This Immaculate Body by Emma van Straaten

If you were obsessed with Baby Reindeer, then you’ll be obsessed with This Immaculate Body! From the first page I was  spellbound! If you’re a fan of insane, unhinged and brilliant fiction, then this is the book for you - Emma's writing is beautiful, and the series of events AND our protagonist Alice will have you reading from behind your hands in the BEST way!

Alice cleans Tom’s flat every Wednesday. With acts of service she shows how much she loves Tom and hopes that he realises that she’s the one. The only downside... Tom has never actually met Alice, but Alice knows everything about him...

This Immaculate Body is a story about the blurred lines between reality and fantasy, drenched in a pool of obsession and infatuation - it felt like a fever dream, and left me hungry for more of Emma Van Straaten’s writing.
