Three things that I LOVE in a romantasy novel, a strong female character who is respected for her strength, a handsome charming male character who is not always as they seem, and a a bad guy / bad situation who we love to hate! Heir of Illusion has it all, move over Throne of Glass, there’s a new romantasy in town and the pages are laced with something ADDICTIVELY delicious!
Ivy Pomeroy is an untouchable assassin of the deadly king, but behind closed doors she hides in the shadows of Mercy, carrying out her own vengeance, until one night she’s confronted by a handsome Reaper of Death, and the immediate sizzling chemistry between the two, which may not have been noticed by our new favourite characters, is scream out loud and kick your feet out electric!

This book, every single page had me gagged in the best way possible, and it’s sky rocketed to god tier fantasy level. It has everything that we could possibly want, including nature of Gods, fae and the jaw-dropping twists! I'm very much a hard Sarah J Maas fan and nothing has ever come close to hitting as much as the Throne of Glass series has until NOW! I need the whole series now! I'm obsessed with this book and it's one of my favourite books EVER!
