Review of How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin

Frances always said that she’d be murdered. She was right!

When a fortune teller warns seventeen-year-old Frances Adams that she will one day be murdered, Frances spends sixty years of her life trying to get one step ahead of her future killer by unveiling the mystery before she takes her last breath. Sadly, after some amateur sleuth detective work, the fortune teller’s vision comes true.

When Frances’ great-niece Annie visits from London after receiving an invite, she finds Frances dead. Very quickly, along with other family members, Annie is thrust into the center-fold of her great-aunt’s death, with the years of evidence and suspicion at her disposal. The only catch? If she uncovers the identity of Frances, she could inherit millions.

If you’re looking for a book with The Inheritance Games vibes, or are a fan of murder mystery shows like The Only Murder in The Building, this is one for you!

A puzzling murder mystery that’s fun, dark in places and utterly captivating! And, did we say that it’s the first in a series?!
