He’d burn the world down for her . . . but she plans to burn his to the ground.
I’m still not completely over this book, and I am already on tenterhooks for what book two of Autumn Wood’s Sorrowsong University will bring because I NEED MORE Ophelia and Alex. Autumn sweeps the reader away to the Scottish Highlands, where the isolated and prostege Sorrowsong university can be found, where the heirs of the most powerful, corrupt and at times dangerous families attend... Inluding those with mafia connections... But Ophelia is there for one thing. Revenge. Ophelia doesn’t quite fit in with her peers, and things take a dark and edge-of-seat turn when it becomes apparent when someone is watching her from the shadows, and the only person that she might be able to trust is her sworn enemy, the one that she plans on destroying, the mysterious and drop-dead gorgeous Alex Corbeau-Green.

This book SIZZLES with chemistry, head-butting enemies and unexpected friendships and more. The perfect slice of dark academia, enemies-to-lovers romance. I could NOT put the darn book down. Autumn has really tapped into the psyche of all of her characters, I felt that they were all authentic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the character developments, along with their interactions and relationship developments. Ophelia starts of as quite the angry closed book, but as the storyline unravels and her vulnerabilities begin to show through we can’t help but love her even more! Also... The witty banter... ADORED IT! This book had me smiling and gasping! HIGHLY recommend!
