But more problems come to her as she meets a rugged dragon rider and they fall to the same path, one of freeing the country. And despite their differences, they fall into step and work together, though things are not as easy as they suspect and with human forces adding to the mix of difficulties, they face choices that threaten their friendship.

A brilliant romantasy, brimming with adventure. Edern and Ari are incredible, fighting to save the country they love and the people they love. The perfect book for lovers of ACOTAR and Fourth Wing. A lovely read for anyone looking for an excuse to bury themselves in myth, legend and ride dragons this summer. I could feel myself taking every step they took, every plunge into icy, Welsh water, feeling the magic grow around them with every ride over the plains.
