What would you do at the end of the world? This story explores that question and the extremes that humanity will take to ensure their survival. We follow two parallel stories separated by access and power, watching how the characters navigate these difficulties.
The Brandt family have everything they could ask for and the security that lay people are killing over in the outside world but a shadow hangs over them as this is still not enough control for the patriarch. And on the outside of the bunker, we see Tom Grady and the community that they’re hiding from, people who just want to survive the next night and put their energy into working alongside the Brandts and their extended entourage.
From psychological and emotional challenges to the stark reality of living in a dystopian nightmare, the story unfolds as both parties struggle to coexist in the same space. Greed and paranoia play out across the page, showing the worst of humanity.
