An interconnected tale of a couple who open their marriage and navigate a non-monogamous relationship. Frances wants more from life after her mother passed away, and while she loves her husband, Ben, she’s seeking that electricity of having crush a again and being sexually adventurous.

From threesomes, dating other people, to group sex, this novel looked at love and relationships from many angles and viewpoints. Told from multiple perspectives, the book explored many views on monogamy and polyamory.

Motherhood was a central theme as Frances wanted to be free and experimental before having children. It poses the question of how relationships change once you have children and the rhetoric that settling down is boring and puts life on hold.
