We meet Tippy Chan, an 11 year old girl from Riverstone, New Zealand, a small town girl obsessed with Nancy Drew, who has recently lost her dad. When her mum goes away, Tippy is left in the capable and hilarious hands of her uncle Pike and his new boyfriend, Devon (or are they being left in Tippy's capable hands?!)

When a brutal murder occurs in the small safe-haven of a town, Tippy's best friend ends up in a coma, herself, uncle Pike, and Devon become The Nancys, the trio who go undercover to discover who the murderer is, and the first rule of The Nancys, EVERYONE is a suspect!
A brilliant slice of crime fiction with be a hilarious camp flair, brilliantly unhinged and lovable characters who will steal your heart! R.W.R McDonald writes beautifully, incorporating themes of grief, identity, friendship, found family and of course, the love of Nancy Drew. The Nancys and the Case of the Missing Necklance is a book that will have you chuckling and gasping! Now... If I could get book 2 STAT, that would be great!
While we are in the depths of the winter -ber months, knitted jumper clad and hot chocolate holding, THIS is the sunshine and glitzy lined mystery that we all need.
