If you’re looking for a fun, laugh-out-loud thriller about marriage and murder then The Retirement Plan is the book for you! We meet wives Pam, Nancy and Shalisa who are sick to the back teeth with their husbands, but when a friend’s husband dies and she gets a big life-changing pay out, then the wives come up with a plan to off their husbands with hopes of spending their own retirement with cocktails in hand, somewhere hot and of course, stress-free - but nothing, especially murder, ever runs smoothly...
The Retirement Plan is filled with twists, marriage bliss and unbliss and of course, humour which will have you falling in love with all of the characters (and shaking your head at their decisions). If you’re looking for a fabulous summer read, one that will have you gasping in shock and cackling, then I highly recommend picking up a copy - I loved every single page! The storyline flits between the characters, so you really are the fly on the wall. The Retirement Plan will definitely be making an appearance on my top reads of 2025 list!
