Review of We Know What You Did by Kirsty Lockwood

This is clearly the summer for thrillers with yet another amazing offering coming from Kirsty Lockwood. Everyone sees Amos die, it’s streamed across the internet and people jump on the morbid live stream, eager to say they were a part of the showdown.

But can you always trust what you see? Because from the outside, Amos gave Odette everything she could possibly need. He was the nation’s grandad, caring for Odette in a way that warmed hearts across the globe. So why does she murder him?

And why does she stay silent if she is innocent? As the threads of the story pull together, a sinister truth is revealed. A captivating study of human relationships and the impact of social media on people jumping to conclusions. Every step closer to the truth turned my stomach into a mess of knots as I worried for Odette and her safety. This story pulled at my heart, keeping me guessing at every stage as I wished I could step in to protect Odette and hear her story as she truly deserved, while unmasking the dark truth that permeated each page.
